SAGU hosts PK party and Camp-UWaxahachie, Texas — May 1, 2013 — Solid Rock Resources partners with Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) to host Camp-U, a Christian summer camp for junior high and high school students, on June 10-13, 2013. SAGU will host a pastor's (PK) and missionary's kid (MK) party before the camp on June 9.

The PK and MK dinner will be served in the cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. on June 9, 2013. After dinner, there will be games and other activities in the Garrison Wellness Center. There is no cost for the dinner but registration is required.

Camp-U will be hosted on the SAGU campus during the AG North Texas District Council on June 10-13. The camp is $150 per camper, and $125 for PK and MK campers. The cost covers meals, housing, camp t-shirt and all activities. Check-in will be in Guynes Hall lobby at 2 p.m. on June 10, 2013.

Rusty Posey and the Oneighty band will lead worship while guest speakers Joseph Kellog and Jotty Kinney lead the evening services.

Joseph Kellogg has been in full-time student ministry since 2001. He is the student pastor of Seven, the Oaks Fellowship's (Red Oak, Texas) student ministry with more than 400 students and 100 volunteers. He serves as the Oak's School of Leadership's student ministries intern director. He is a nationally recognized youth communicator and youth ministry coach.

Jotty Kinney has served in youth ministry, bus evangelism, children's ministry and worship for more than 20 years. Kinney uses humor and passion to communicate the Gospel message of Christ to young people across the nation at camps, retreats, and special services.

Kinney and his wife Haley have been married for more than 15 years and have three boys: Jackson, Samuel and Charlie. They are currently the lead pastors at Christian Center Church in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Camp Director Jaroy Carpenter is an international communicator. His 30 years of youth ministry include eight years as a public high school health and sports medicine teacher, 23 years as a student ministry director and youth evangelist. He is SAGU's Athletic Outreach Director and is the North Texas AG District's Camp Lakeview Conference Center Director.

Carpenter is the founder of Solid Rock Resources, which includes resources for youth ministry and programs for campus ministry, illustrated sermons, videos and many other valuable ministry resources.
