“Texas College has been CJ’s best game so far.  He was very accurate with the football, even under pressure,” says head coach Frank Tristan, “CJ has been making good decisions quickly when it comes to the pass game.  He is throwing the deep ball accurately.”

Collins has led the Lions to the best start in school history with a record of 4-1.  Against Texas College, he completed 59% of his passes, going 18-for-31.  He had no interceptions while throwing for four touchdowns in the 49-10 victory.

Currently, Collins leads the Central States Football League in passing.  He averages 247 yards per game, completing 62% of his passes.

On Saturday, October 10, 2016, Collins and the football team will look to make their record 5-1 when they take on Lyon College.
