Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) will host its 14th annual Christmas at SAGU at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28th on the front lawn of the historic Farmer Administration building. (1200 Sycamore St.)

SAGU welcomes the community to join in for this fun celebration.

This event will include a Christmas light display along with live Christmas music. There will also be pictures with Santa, homemade treats, holiday beverages, ornament decorating, hayrides, train rides and more.

The ultimate goal for Christmas at SAGU is to unite the Waxahachie community and the SAGU campus for a time of joyous excitement in celebration of the wonderful Christmas season by lighting the campus for all to enjoy.

The annual Christmas tradition dates back to 2009 when the SAGU community wanted to join in the holiday tradition that engulfs Waxahachie during the Christmas season. Along with joining SAGU’s hometown tradition, the event was also a way to bring Christmas cheer to students during the few weeks after Thanksgiving and leading up to finals.

Community Sponsors of this year’s event include Provider Food Services, Southwestern Women’s Auxiliary, and GEICO DeSoto. Specialized Landscaping Services is the contractor utilized for the installation of the campus lighting.
