Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women’s soccer 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes Sarah Porter Witney Burns

“It requires another level of self-discipline in order to be a student-athlete and both Sarah and Witney can always look back on their collegiate career knowing they finished the race well,” says head coach Paul Hason .

In order to receive a nomination, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.  They must also have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for the honor.

In all of the NAIA, 578 women’s soccer student-athletes have been named 2016 Daktronics-NAIA-Scholar-Athletes .  Goshen (Indiana) leads all programs with 14 individuals on the list.

Southwestern Assemblies of God University is a private, Christian university located 30 minutes south of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Waxahachie, Texas.
