WAXAHACHIE, Texas  -  The Southwestern Assemblies of God University women's volleyball team will make their final home appearance tonight at 7:00pm in the Sheaffer Center.

The Lady Lions, who are 14-13 overall and 7-6 in the Sooner Athletic Conference, clash with Oklahoma City University. The Stars are 16-11 and 7-5.

Earlier this season the Stars topped the Purple Pride in OKC by a 3-1 count.

The last time OKCU played in Waxahachie was last season. SAGU came away with a 3-2 victory.

Both teams have qualified for the SAC tournament, November 14-16, and could meet again there.

SAGU will honor their senior players this evening in a special pre-match ceremony.

The SAGU Sports Network will carry the ceremony and the best-of-five match on HD video. The pre-game show airs at 6:45pm. LiveStats will also be available. Links are posted below.

The Lady Lions have two more matches on tap to conclude the regular season.

They travel to Plainview, Texas for an 11:00am meeting with Wayland Baptist University on Saturday. The Lady Pioneers are ranked No. 17. WBU sports a 25-5 record. They are 10-2 in the SAC.

Both of their losses have come at the hands of Oklahoma Baptist University. The Bison are ranked #8 and will carry a 17 game winning streak into the final matches this week.

SAGU's final match is slated for Friday, Nov. 8, at Texas Wesleyan University.
