WAXAHACHIE, Texas  --  Southwestern Assemblies of God University and Wiley College have enjoyed a fierce rivalry in recent seasons. Add tonight's to the list.

SAGU (9-5 record) won the first two games, 25-21 and 25-17. The visiting Wildcats (8-9) stormed back to sweep the next three, 25-21, 25-14 and 15-10 in the decisive fifth set.

They did the same thing a year ago, also in the Sheaffer Center and in 2009 on their home court, the Alumni Gymnasium in Marshall, Texas.

Wiley now leads the series, 9-5, taking their fifth straight over the Lady Lions. Eight of the 14 matches have gone the distance.

The Wildcats have won three of the last four that took five games to declare a winner. Overall, each team has won four in five dating back to 2005.

A complete recap of the match, including action *photos, will be posted tonight.
