The 32-team, single elimination format will take place from March 19-25 at the Municipal Auditorium (cap. 10,116) in Kansas City, Missouri.

A year after finishing second, Southwestern Assemblies of God University returns as the No. 5 seed. The Purple Pride has spent the entire season ranked between No. 1 and No. 5.

SAGU will depart for KC on Monday morning aboard their charter bus. It is a 553 mile trek from Waxahachie.

The Lions will carry a 26-5 record into a first round date on Thursday, March 20, against St. Catharine College (Ky) (18-12).

The Patriots shoot the ball better than SAGU. They also grab more offensive rebounds, ranking second nationally to SAGU’s #9, averaging 15.7 to the Lions’ 14.3.

Should SAGU manage to get past the Patriots they would play on Friday at 9:45pm against the winner between Hope International (Cal) (22-10) and No. 12 Xavier University (La) (23-8).

The entire bracket is posted above.
