SAGU teams play at 6pm/8pm in Richardson

Games will be rematches from November 5th doubleheader

basketball-in-kcWAXAHACHIE, Texas  --  The Southwestern Assemblies of God University men’s and women’s basketball teams will be in action tonight when they meet Dallas Christian College in Richardson.

The Lady Lions (2-3) play at 6:00pm (CST) while the Lions (4-0) tangle with the Crusaders (0-4) at 8:00pm.

No other media coverage of the games is available. Articles on each game will be posted here later tonight.


Nia Winston (13.6 ppg) is leading the Lady Lions in scoring, while Taylor Hill (7.2) and Jirah Rodriguez (6.2) provide support.

Laken Ward (5.6 rpg) leads in rebounds per game, with Shaquita Roberts (5.2) and Charity Page (5.2) close behind.

Five players are averaging double-figures in scoring for the Lions, paced by Caleb Gentry (23.0); Daniel Mills (16.0), Tyler Guidry (16.0), Caleb Feemster (15.5) and Andrew Erskine (10.0).

On the boards, Feemster (10.5 rpg) is yanking down the most caroms. Karor Gumwell (7.0), Guidry (7.0) and Remington Mitchell (6.5) are producing as well.

The Lady Lions defeated Dallas Christian in their season opener two weeks ago, 81-25. The Lions topped the Crusaders, 95-62, in the Texas Snowstorm game.

SAGU's next home game is on December 5 when Oklahoma City University visits the Sheaffer Center.
