SAGU host benefit Fun Run, April 27Waxahachie, Texas — April 23, 2014 — Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) will host the David's March The Purple and Gold Celebration Run 2014 on Sunday, April 27, 2014. For the past two years, SAGU's Athletics supported IT Director David Bush through Coaches versus Cancer as he battled with stage 4 lymphoma. In March 2014, David passed away. In his honor, SAGU Head Basketball Coach Donnie Bostwick began the first annual David's March Run.

Bostwick shared, "David lived life to the fullest and touched everyone he came in contact with. Everything we do in the event will be a celebration of David’s life including purple and gold paint fun, bubbles, and releasing of doves will all be part of the fun."

All proceeds will go toward the David B. Bush Memorial Scholarship. Sunday Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Sheaffer Center Mundt Room and is open to the public.
