This doubleheader was originally scheduled a month ago. An regional ice storm forced the postponement of both the games at SCU and a home twinbill against Oklahoma City University. Both were rescheduled for the early part of January.

The women's game is set to start at 6:00pm (CST). The Lady Lions are 6-6 overall. SCU's Lady Eagles are 2-8. Both are 0-2 in league games within the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Approximately twenty minutes afterwards the men's contest will commence with a jumpball at 8:00pm.

SAGU is 9-1 in all games and 2-0 in the S.A.C. Southwestern Christian is 5-4 and 1-1.

The Eagles defeated Oklahoma City, 82-79, at home on December 17. They dropped their most recent game, 85-75, against nationally ranked Wayland Baptist University, also at home.

Full reports will be posted on the SAGU Athletic website later tonight.

Both teams will play in Fort Worth on Thursday night against Texas Wesleyan University.

SAGU's next home date is Saturday, January 11, when they host the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma at 3:00pm and 5:00pm.

The latest NAIA Coaches Top 25 Poll is expected to be released today.
