Southwestern Assemblies of God University SAGU Sports Update 101013Waxahachie, Texas — October 10, 2013 — Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) volleyball hosts Texas Wesleyan University (12-12/ 4-2), Southwestern Christian University (4-17/ 1-6) and Southern Nazarene University (12-5) on Thurs., Oct. 10 - Sat., Oct. 12, in the Sheaffer Center gymnasium at 7 p.m. SAGU Sports Live will broadcast the game in HD.

They are No. 8 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and No. 1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) in digs per set at 18.5.

SAGU football defeated Oklahoma Baptist University away in Shawnee, Okla., 21-10. They host Langston University on Sat., Oct. 12, at 2 p.m. at Lumpkins Stadium in Waxahachie, Texas. SAGU will broadcast the game on SAGU Sports Network.


SAGU men's and women's soccer host Wayland Baptist University on Saturday, October 12, starting at 12 p.m.

SAGU cross-country will travel to Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla., on Oct. 12 for their next meet. The East Texas Invitational was canceled due to rain and will be rescheduled for a future date.
