IRVING, Texas  --  Southwestern Assemblies of God University returns to the field this evening when they play a doubleheader against the University of Dallas this evening.

The Lady Lions haven't won in the past month, when injuries have taken their toll.

SAGU brings a 6-38 won-lost record into a twinbill against the Lady Crusaders, who are 10-22.

Head Coach Tim Grant and the team continue to press on as they enter their final 10 games. They have regained a couple of players who haven't seen action in weeks.

The Lady Lions (13-24 in 2013) took 3-of-4 games with U-of-D a year ago; winning 7-6 and 10-9, then falling, 7-6. In the finale, the Purple Pride bounced back in a 9-4 victory.

The teams did not play in SAGU's inaugural season in 2012.

SAGU returns to face Southwestern Christian University at home, on campus, this Thursday. They will play a doubleheader that starts a 2:00pm first pitch.

SWCU is battling the Lady Lions for ninth place in the Sooner Athletic Conference. At 12-29 overall, the Lady Eagles have lost 16 straight games.
