Scholarships & Grants for Special Program Students

SAGU offers several special programs. These include School of Ministry (SOM), Dual Credit (Early College Credit), and our Doctoral program. These special programs receive an automatic large discount off of regular tuition rates. Because of this large discount, special program students are not able to receive additional institutional scholarships and grants. The only exception to this is that Dual Credit students can receive the AG Missionary Grant if eligible. School of Ministry students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to receive federal aid.

School of Ministry (SOM)

SOM students automatically receive a tuition discount from 40-60% off regular on campus tuition rates. (Exact discount depends upon program.) Therefore, they cannot receive additional institutional scholarships and grants, but we do ask SOM students to complete the FAFSA to be eligible for federal student aid.

Dual Credit (Early College Credit)

Dual Credit students are billed at an extremely reduced rate of only $100 per credit hour. Therefore, they cannot receive institutional scholarships and grants (other than a missionary grant described below). Because Dual Credit students are still in high school, they are also not eligible to receive aid through the FAFSA .

Assemblies of God Missionary Grant

Dual Credit students that are dependents of a nationally appointed Assemblies of God missionary can receive a 50% tuition discount off of regular Dual Credit tuition rates. If eligible, Dual Credit students should complete the required AG Missionary Grant application .

Doctoral

Due to their low tuition rate, Doctoral students cannot receive additional institutional scholarships and grants, but we do ask Doctoral students to complete the FAFSA to be eligible for federal unsubsidized student loans.
