Biography

Dr. Clancy Hayes leads the practical ministries department at SAGU. He holds the rank of Associate Professor. His primary focus of teaching is in the area of spiritual formation. Before coming to SAGU, he served as national training coordinator for the Discipleship department at the headquarters of the General Council of the Assemblies of God. He has served Assemblies of God congregations in Northern California and New Hampshire. Dr. Hayes has written many articles, curriculum lessons, and books mostly associated with Christian education and spiritual formation. The tile of Hayes’ latest book is Reach All Your Students: Helping Students Enjoy the Learning Journey. Dr. Hayes regularly speaks at district events, local churches and internationally.
