Mr. Caudle obtained his BBA (finance) from the University of Oklahoma, working his way through college as a carpenter and oil field laborer. He then entered the master’s program at the University of Texas at Dallas.  Part way through he went to work with Texas Oil & Gas Co. as an accountant and, later, as an accounting supervisor, while over time finishing his MS (accounting concentration) and passing the CPA exam. He next attended SMU’s law school, starting while still working for TXO.  Mr. Caudle is presently with Schubert & Evans, P.C. in Dallas, and has practiced law with David Schubert and Blake Evans there, and previously at two very large firms.  He and his wife have three grown children, and are both members of and regularly attend All Saints Dallas , a charismatic congregation of the theologically conservative Anglican Mission to the Americas.
