Mr. Caudle obtained his BBA (finance) from the University of Oklahoma, working his way through college as a carpenter. He then entered the master’s program at the University of Texas at Dallas; part way through he went to work with an oil and gas E&P company in Dallas, while over time finishing his MS (accounting concentration) and passing the CPA exam. U.S. Steel’s purchase of the company next opened the door for him to attend SMU’s law school. After becoming a lawyer he ceased being a CPA. Presently, Mr. Caudle is with Schubert & Evans, P.C. in Dallas, and he has been blessed to practice law with David Schubert and Blake Evans there, and previously at two very large firms, for about 20 years out of the time he has been an attorney. At present, he primarily assists clients with legal analysis and recommendations, and represents clients in lawsuits and arbitrations involving insurance, contract or other business disputes or claims. Over the years, he has been involved in lawsuits touching on a wide range of substantive legal areas. About 20 years ago Mr. Caudle bought a run-down farm, mostly for the recreational opportunities, and then discovered the satisfaction of overcoming the challenges of raising cattle and general farm and ranch work. He and his wife have been married for 35 years and have three grown children. They are both members of and regularly attend All Saints Dallas, a charismatic congregation of the theologically conservative Anglican Mission to the Americas.
