Dr. Stephen Patrick graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in C&BA (Major: Accounting; Concentration: Marketing). Upon completing this degree and spending nearly six years working in industry, he enrolled at Auburn University in Montgomery to complete his MBA. In addition to this, Dr. Patrick completed additional coursework towards a MAcc degree at Kennesaw State University before accepting a position with the audit firm Capin Crouse, LLP. Finally, he successfully completed his PhD in Advanced Accounting from Northcentral University. Currently, he is pursuing a Masters of Science in Finance and Economics from West Texas A&M.

Dr. Patrick’s non-academic experience includes nearly 20 years of professional experience in the field of accounting within the following industries: retail, manufacturing, real estate, service, energy, and public nonprofit auditing. Also, he has successfully owned and operated a real estate investment business for over 15 years, owned and operated a vending business, served as a youth minister at four different churches, and has led an adult married Sunday School class. Recently, he was serving as the Controller for a successful real estate company in Atlanta, was an Assistant Controller for an international manufacturing firm, and spent nearly 9 years as a Senior Project Accountant at the largest gasoline pipeline company in the United States.

On a personal note, Dr. Patrick lives in Cumming, GA with his beautiful wife and his four beautiful daughters. They are actively involved in the local church, sports, camping, SEC football, and the NBA. In addition, he serves as the Commissioner for a local church basketball league.
