Aerial view of military-supportive SAGU

Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) was recently recognized as a military-supportive university by Military Supportive Colleges. SAGU ranked alongside other reputable universities, including Baylor University and Southern Methodist University (SMU). These colleges and universities, along with SAGU, participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program in which qualified veterans can receive additional tuition benefits.

Veterans can choose majors within the following colleges: the College of Bible & Church Ministries, the College of Business & Education, and the College of Music & Communication Arts.

Veterans also benefit from the tuition cost difference at SAGU. Given that a bachelor’s degree from SAGU costs around $86,640, the overall undergraduate degree cost is well below the state average for private schools (which is around $123,360, according to militarysupportivecolleges.com).

Several other advantages for veterans attending SAGU are the opportunity to earn up to 45 credit hours for prior military experience and training, and the option to enroll in online classes.

SAGU supports our military by offering affordable tuition for veterans who want to serve Christ and others. As a leading Christian university, SAGU helps students discover and develop their God-given callings in a Spirit-empowered, learning community.
