Frontline is a student-led organization that is made up of different need-based ministries that work in Waxahachie and the greater Dallas-Ft. Worth Area to connect with people who do not know the love of God. Student involvement is voluntary and the ministries operate on a weekly basis along special outreaches.

Vision Statement: To see students explore the different avenues of ministry, regardless of their major through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and the willingness to follow where He is leading.

Mission: Provide students with the opportunity to serve, reach, and love the lost of the community and surrounding cities.

Common Ground

This is an after-school program serving children in Waxahachie. SAGU students get to invest in the lives of these children through tutoring, mentoring, relationship building and weekly Bible studies.

Monday-Friday: 3:30-5:30pm meets to leave on the first floor of the Library

Street Hope

A weekly outreach to the homeless of downtown Dallas. Students prepare and serve food, distribute clothes, and lead a worship service for the homeless of Dallas in partnership with Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Friday: 5:45 PM in Sheaffer Center room 2236.

Freedom's Voice

A ministry to sex trafficking victims in the Dallas area. FV partners with local non-profit organizations that run these shelters. Within Freedom's Voice are four different safe houses/shelters; Prayer For Freedom, Bridges, Mosaic and Hope Mansion.

Prayer for Freedom

A ministry for the prevention of sex trafficking in elementary aged children. This group works to bring awareness and build friendships. One male and one female group go out. Thursdays: 4pm


A safe house that specializes in helping women transition into working a job and finding a home for themselves. Every Other Thursday: 6:30pm


A safe house specifically for women and their children. Mondays: 5:30pm

Hope Mansion

A safe house specifically for pregnant mothers or new mothers. Fridays: 6pm

Arms of Refuge

A relationship building ministry and prayer group for African refugees in the DFW area. AoR goes out to government owned apartment complexes to fellowship and minister. During their prayer time, information is given out about refugees and how to best reach them. Due to the sensitive nature of this ministry, please contact the SMA office for information on the interview process for the outings.

A weekly interest group for students wanting to learn about church planting. Rooted facilitates round table discussions between SAGU students and DFW church planters at Fresh Market Coffee. If you should need a ride, stop by the SMA office for the leader's cell phone number.

Mondays: 10:15-11:15am
