What does it mean to be “called”?
SAGU and High School students are invited to the CALLED Conference – Dinner and Panel on Thursday, March 23rd, at 6 PM at the Sheaffer Center Gymnasium located at SAGU. The event will feature a panel discussion with DFW area businessman and SAGU alumnus John Houston and NextGEN Pastor at the People’s Church in Oklahoma City, Joseph Kellogg.
John will share his passion and insights for those desiring to understand more about what it means to be called into Marketplace ministry, while Joseph will share his passion and insights about being called into Vocational ministry. John Zick, National Director of Called, will moderate the panel discussion. This year’s event is in partnership with the “Called” Ministry of the national offices of the A/G General Council.
The dinner is at no cost, but registration before March 22 is required.
About the Panelists:
John Houston is the Founder and CEO of John Houston Homes, a homebuilding company that started in 2005, and five additional companies which make up the JH Family of Companies. While building these businesses, John has stayed true to his core belief of putting God first, family second, and work third, creating a company culture and brand that is excelling at the highest level.
Joseph Kellogg is the NextGEN Pastor at the People’s Church, a thriving congregation located in Oklahoma City, and previously served as the Youth Pastor of The Oaks in Red Oak.
