Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science Degree in Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement

SAGU’s Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement program provides both a bachelor’s degree and police academy certification in the same amount of time it takes to obtain a bachelor’s degree alone. You will explore correctional rehabilitation strategies and gain insights into the inner workings of the criminal justice system, attend a Texas police academy (or transfer in credit hours if you have them) and graduate with a peace officer certificate and a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences (B.A.A.S.) degree. This program goes beyond theoretical learning by including practical skills training and emphasizing ethical decision-making. You will emerge as a well-rounded professional prepared to handle challenging situations with tact, integrity, and efficiency. Candidates with these qualifications and skills are highly sought after by employers.
