Salary Range: $10 to $18 Hourly
Part-time, 25 hours/week, 34 weeks/year
Institutional Mission
The purpose of Southwestern Assemblies of God University is to prepare undergraduate and graduate students spiritually, academically, professionally, and cross-culturally so as to successfully fill evangelistic, missionary and church ministry roles and to provide quality educational and professional Christian service wherever needed throughout the world
Major Responsibilities:
• Provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses
• Triage health needs to include referral to medical care, counseling services, and/or community resources
• Follow up with individuals with illnesses/accidents
• Provide confidential health counseling and guidance for students
• Educate students and staff to maintain good health
• Serve as liaison between parents, doctors, and students in medical matters
• Update the Policy and Procedure manual annually
• Maintain inventory control of clinical supplies and order as needed
• Participate on health-related committees
• Act as a resource to the campus community with regard to health issues
Qualifications:
• Minimum licensure of LVN (RN preferred)
• One to two years of previous experience
• Must have proof of personal liability insurance and First Aid/AED certification
