Covarrubias Corner

  • “We had an amazing weekend!  Times were a tad bit slower than last weekend but that can be chalked up to a six-hour bus ride the night before and a strong 15-20 mph head wind.  Regardless, our effort was fearless, and we know that if the effort remains high, time will naturally drop once the warmth arrives.  This meet was a mere practice for us, and we loaded up all of the member’s day with multiple events to continue to build strength and endurance for a great second half of the season.  We are close, extremely close, to making a breakthrough.  We just have to remain humble and put our heads down and work!

The Next Step
