There are several principles that Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) was founded on that still remain today, despite the ever-changing culture of our world. The Summer 2018 President’s Report, titled “Steadfast in the Midst of a Cultural Shift” illustrates the importance of living out these core values after graduation. This issue covers the stories of seven SAGU alumni who display these values in the workplace, their ministry, and in everyday life.

Each story centers around the testimonies of a SAGU graduate who has been able to use the principles they were equipped with during their collegiate years, such as a Bible-based education, servant leadership, missions-mindedness, and many others. From a pastoral couple leading a church in the middle of a spiritually dark New Orleans, to a physical trainer that is passionate about both physical and spiritual health, this issue is packed with stories of inspiration from alumni who choose to be set apart and reflect Christ in all they do.
