Waxahachie, Texas – Thursday, November 12, 2015 – Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) hosts the 2nd annual SAGU Futsal Christmas Classic Tournament on December 19-20, 2015, in the Claxton and Sheaffer Center Gymnasiums .

Head men’s soccer coach Clem Oancea added, “We are excited to continue this annual futsal tournament.” He continued, “We hope this becomes a new tradion to bring friends and family together before the holidays.”

Futsal is a modified form of soccer that is played on an indoor court. It was developed in Uruguay and Brazil in the 1930s and 1940s. The game is five-on-five and played with in bound lines.
