Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) baseball University of Science & Arts-Oklahoma

USAO is currently ranked no. 22 in the NAIA.  They are also in a three-way tie for first place in the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) with Southwestern Christian and Texas Wesleyan .

In game one, SAGU’s Raul Castro went two for four with two RBI’s and one double.  In the bottom of the fourth, Castro doubled down the left field line, scoring Chris Wallace and Jake Killion.

In the bottom of the fifth, Jake Payonk tripled down the right field line. Tallon Ralstin grounded out to short, but was able to score Payonk.  Payonk went three for three with one run scored and one triple.

In game two, Castro struck again.  Castro hit a three run home run over the left field fence on a 1-2 count.  This was Castro’s eighth home run for the season and his 49 th RBI.

The Lions will have one more regular-season series against Texas Wesleyan University on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2016.  Both days games will begin at 1pm.
