Faculty Jazz Combo
The SAGU Faculty Jazz Combo (SFJC), under the direction of Joel Griffin, is dedicated to playing the music of the “Great American Song Book.” Along with jazz standards, the group performs more current literature of composers such as Michael Brecker, Dave Holland, and their own original music. The SFJC performs several times throughout each semester including Jazz N’ Java, Music Chapels, various on campus events, school tours, evening concerts, and many other performances through out the DFW area.
