Traveling Groups

The Harvesters

A ministry of SAGU and the University Advancement Office, the Harvesters are a three-part vocal group and have the distinction of being the school’s longest running traveling ensemble. They travel year-round making connections with friends and alumni of the university at special events, churches and conventions across the nation. The Harvesters’ repertoire ranges from traditional to contemporary, and will have something that each generation will embrace as they receive Christ’s message.

SAGU Worship

Whether on the SAGU main campus in Waxahachie, Texas, or somewhere around the globe, SAGU Worship is always about one thing: Facilitating the worship of God through song. In its foundational role as the campus music worship ministry, SAGU Worship leads in the university’s weekly chapel services while maintaining an active travel schedule. SAGU Worship is comprised of students that have been evaluated by audition for both their talent and passion for the presence of God. The group is typically comprised of four vocalists and a five-piece band, and plans each experience drawing from a broad set of music styles, in a way that serves the unique profile of each worship event.
