SAGU Soccer Games Rescheduled

Today's Games at Dallas Christian Moved to September 16

WAXAHACHIE, Texas  --  The scheduled women's and men's soccer doubleheader between Southwestern Assemblies of God University and Dallas Christian College, slated for 3pm and 5pm today, has been moved to Thursday, September 16.

SAGU Athletic Director, Dr. Jerry Boone, announced the change, which was said to be a mutual decision by both schools. The twin-bill will remain at Dallas Christian's home field in Richardson.

Get Your Kicks on Saturday

Southwestern will return to action this Saturday, Sept. 4, when both teams make their home debut. The Lions (1-1) clash with Dakota Wesleyan at 1:00pm, followed by the Lady Lions (0-2) meeting with the University of Dallas at 3pm.

Two hours after the futbol (soccer) action concludes, the SAGU Lions football team starts their 2010 season with a 7pm battle against Austin College at Lumpkins Stadium.
