Waxahachie, Texas — May 21, 2013 — Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) will host "The Italy Experience" on March 7-16, 2014. Participants will visit Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Assisi, San Gimignano and Siena.
Join SAGU President Kermit Bridges and SAGU professors Larry Hester and Garland Owensby for a biblical, historical, and geographical journey through Italy. Travelers will experience Italy through the land, language and culture of modern and biblical worlds.
Hester shared, "This trip will help you better understand how the Roman World of Christ’s time affected the entire New Testament. We will return home with vivid memories of our wonderful Italy Experience."
The trip is $3,637 and includes a guided tour, round-trip airfare from Dallas, transportation, entrance fees and gratuities, daily breakfast and dinner, deluxe motor coaches and first-class hotels.
Students may earn 3 hours of undergraduate or graduate credit. A $300 deposit is required to reserve a place on the trip.
