Waxahachie, Texas — May 23, 2014 — This fall SAGU's Harrison Graduate School will offer an MBA. SAGU’s 36-hour MBA program is an online cohort. Courses include Management Information Systems, Business Ethics, Managerial Decision Making, Global Business Economics, Organizational Strategy, Managerial Accounting, Applied Business Research, Organizational Behavior, Advanced Marketing Strategies, Business Leadership and Corporate Finance.
According to the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the average cost for a two-year MBA is $60,000, but can reach as high as $100,000. SAGU’s MBA is only $22,000. GMAC also found in its 2013 Alumni Perspectives Survey that MBA graduates recouped an average of one-third of their financial investment immediately after graduation and had a 100 percent return after four years.
GMAC reports a 95% MBA employment rate, an increase of 8% from 2009. The median starting salary for MBA degree-holders in 2013 was $100,000 compared to graduates only holding bachelor’s degrees whose annual salary was $45,000 (NACE).
