New Student Orientation
Orientation for Undergraduate Distance Education Students
All new distance education students are required to attend a New Student Orientation at the beginning of the first semester of enrollment. The New Student Orientation is designed to PREPARE you to succeed academically, INSPIRE you to be a Southwesterner for life, and CONNECT you with professors, staff, and other students. It is an upbeat experience planned with you in mind. You'll get to meet our friendly faculty and staff as well as other new students. You'll learn how the distance education program works and will walk away feeling excited about this new journey God has called you to begin!

**Please be prepared to pay a $30 seminar fee at the orientation check-in to cover the cost of orientation materials and four meals (cash or check)
