Waxahachie, Texas – September 23, 2015 – The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) softball team has begun fall ball.  This is the first year for head coach Sarah Harman , who arrived to campus shortly before school started.

“I am impressed at how quickly and open this team is in welcoming the program philosophy and standards,” says Harman.

After the first full week of practice, Harman organized a game day challenge at Lake View Campground .  The team completed in a variety of games/challenges while developing stronger team chemistry, communication, trust and leadership skills.

Freshman Bailey Harkins felt the weekend brought the team closer, “”This was the first time I’ve done team building and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a team this close to each other, which cares for each other, and wants to get to know each other.”

On Saturday, October 24, 2015 SAGU will play a fall scrimmage against University of Dallas.
