Waxahachie, Texas – December 7, 2016 – Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) was recently ranked by Best Degree Programs for having one of the best online bachelor’s history degree programs for 2016.
Best Degree Programs specifically noted the uniqueness of SAGU’s online program to help prepare students to teach middle and secondary history and social studies with twelve available content concentrations.
Students can earn an online bachelor’s degree in teaching education that leads them toward certification in Texas. Concentrations include geography, introduction to the economic history, medieval western history and Texas history. The program is 100% online with access to classes 24 hours per day and seven days a week.
The ranking created by Best Degree Programs reviewed approximately 55 accredited colleges and universities that offered online history degree programs for undergraduates. They reviewed the schools that were regionally or nationally ranked in publications like Forbes Magazine, US News and World Report.
SAGU is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as a top regional university in the West.
After consulting the National Center for Education Statistics, Best Degree Programs ranked the schools based on undergraduate tuition price.
