Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) softball Sooner Athletic Conference Our Lady of the Lake

Game one (L 4-0)

In game one, OLL had a combined perfect game between Destiny Vega and Lauren Garza .  Vega had three strike outs for five innings pitched.  Garza pitched for two innings and had three strike outs as well.

In the bottom of the second, Lady of the Lake scored three runs off of five hits and no SAGU errors.

SAGU’s Hannah Lee pitched a full seven innings.

OLL’s Taylor Doege went a perfect three for three at the plate.

Game Two (4-0)

The Lady Lions were able to get three hits in game two.  Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to translate to any runs scored.

Lady of the Lake struck in the second inning once again and scored two runs off of one SAGU error.

SAGU’s Adrianna Barnes pitched six and one/third innings. Hannah Lee came in relief for the final two/thirds inning.

Taylor’s Doege also led the Lady Saints in game two.  She went two for four at the plate, with one run scored.

Lauren Garza picked up the win on the mound.

The Lady Lions will restart SAC play next Friday, March 31, 2017 when they play at Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Game time is at 2pm.
