outhwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women’s soccer Sooner Athletic Conference Texas Wesleyan

The Lady Rams were quick to score, and within the first five minutes Drea Molina found the back of the net to go up 1-0.  TWU’s lead didn’t last long as SAGU’s Rachel Freed passed to Nadine Jaimes for her 16 th goal of the season.  The score was tied at 1-all.

In the second half, TWU was able to expand their lead by two while holding SAGU scoreless.  The Lady Rams worked hard on defense to keep the ball away from Jaimes and they were able to do just that.  In the second half she was only able to get off one shot.

With the Lady Rams win over the Lady Lions, they are now on an eight-game winning streak.

SAGU will host Mid-America Christian University on Tuesday, October 8, 2016.  Game time is at 1pm.  The Lady Evangels are currently 5-5 for the season and 2-2 in the SAC.
