According to head coach Frank Tristan , the Scots have one key play-maker, “ Michael Bowles is number three in the country in rushing.  Against Morthland College, he had over 250 yards rushing.  Containing him will be one of our biggest goals of the game.  We’ve put in a few different schemes in order to stop the run.”

Last week against Bacone, Lyon had the lead going into halftime.  The Warriors came back and ended up defeating Lyon, 34-21.

A week before against Morthland College, Lyon was able to put up 63 points.  LC beat Morthland 63-26.

SAGU’s latest game against Austin College lasted over four hours thanks to a lengthy lightning delay.  With five minutes left in the game, Austin College took their first lead of the night, going up 17-14.  On SAGU’s next possession, they went 89 yards in nine plays to regain the lead and ultimately the win.

SAGU’s JP Lowery is averaging 96-yards per game rushing.  Against AC, he ran for 70-yards and Ricky Bickham rushed for 61 yards.  Wide receiver Jeremy Carr is averaging four catches a game.
