Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Track and Field Mt. SAC Relays Destiny Garza

“I am so excited for Destiny,” explains SAGU Head Coach Jason Covarrubias , “She does things right, focuses on the small details and deserves this opportunity.  She has been a workhorse these past four years and I am truly excited that it has paid off for her!  We are heading into what I call our ‘Championship Phase’ of training and this race will be a great test for her.”

Garza will be competing against 166 of the top athletes in the country, which include NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA and various professional clubs.  This is the first time any competitor from SAGU has been asked to compete in the meet.

The Mt. SAC Relays is held at San Antonio College .  Each program submits times and only the top runners per event are invited to compete. The meet is being held over three days on April 12-14, 2017.  You can find a full list of official entries at www.mtsacrelays.com .
