SAGU serves as community resource

Summer ProgramWaxahachie, TX - June 15, 2011 - Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) opens its campus for several events this summer. Since May, SAGU has hosted North Texas Fine Arts, Association of Christian Teachers and Schools, and North Texas District Council.

Vice President of Enrollment and Retention Eddie Davis shares, “Our summer program has grown tremendously over the last 10 years. It began with one cheer camp of 150 students, and now we attract over 7,500 visitors. The program not only impacts SAGU positively, but also local businesses. Visitors stay in local hotels and eat in local restaurants throughout the summer.”

  • June 13-16: Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders (FCC)
  • June 15-17: Oaks Worship Camp
  • June 20-24: New Breed Camp
  • June 27-July 1: 220 Leadership Camp
  • July 5-9: Water’s Edge Student Ministries
  • July 11-14: Christian Cheerleaders of America
  • July 11-15: ArtLife Camp
  • August 1-3: Trinity Church Football Camp
