President Kermit Bridges continues 'Voting Your Values' series

SAGU President Bridges continues 'Voting Your Values' seriesWaxahachie, Texas — October 23, 2012 — On September 11, Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) President Kermit Bridges began a sermon series on topics related to Christian values and their influence on the election on November 6, 2012. President Bridges will continue to address major topics during select services now through November.

The series is available on SAGUtv under the Special Lecture Series tab.

In part one of the series, President Bridges discusses the importance of the American Constitution, the fight to end slavery, as well as the current issue of abortion.

In part two, President Bridges discusses how the Supreme Court has become the most powerful branch in American government and how religious freedoms are in danger.

During the third part, Vice President of Academic Services Paul Brooks presented "180," a Living Water Publications movie that compares the Holocaust to the genocide of aborted babies in America today.

In the fourth video, President Bridges discusses whether Christians should engage in the political process. Bridges also addresses what churches are legally allowed and not allowed to do.

In episode five, President Bridges discusses abortion and same-sex marriage and what Scripture says about the topics.

In part six, the president discusses poverty, immigration and environmentalism.
