Waxahachie, TexasApril 17, 2012 – Solid Rock Ministries partners with Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) to host Camp U, a Christian summer camp for junior high and high school students, on June 6-9, 2012. The cost for the camp is $150 (by May 21) or $165 (after May 21.

The 180 band will lead worship while guest speaker Jotty Kinney will lead evening services. Register online at

Kinney is a creative student communicator who speaks the word of God straight to the heart of students. His passion, humor and energetic attitude will communicate the truth to motivate students to win their world for Christ. A week of camp with Jotty will give students the tools they need to live an overcoming life for Christ, long after Camp U.

Camp Director Jaroy Carpenter is an international communicator. His 26 years of youth ministry include 8 years as a public high school teacher and sports medicine, ten years as a student ministry director, and youth evangelist. He partners with SAGU as Director of Sports Medicine and athletic outreach.

Carpenter is the founder of Solid Rock Resources, which includes resources for youth ministry and programs for campus ministry, illustrated sermons, videos and many other valuable ministry resources. Jaroy’s powerful message inspires youth to live an overcoming life in a day where hard hitting pressures of society are greater than ever.

Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) is a private, Christian university located 30 minutes south of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Waxahachie, Texas.
