VBall team tops U-of-Dallas, 3-1

The Southwestern Assemblies of God University volleyball team defeated the University of Dallas, three games to one, this evening in Irving.
The Lady Lions, now 11-10, won the first two games, 25-22 and 25-19, before falling the third, 24-26. They regrouped to whip the NCAA Division III Crusaders (13-11 record) in the fourth game by a 25-18 count.
Taylor Calverley (Mansfield, Tx / Grace Prep) had a sensational match with 50 assists in four games, an average of 12.5 per.
The 'Big Three' hitters did their part, with Jessica Sodich (Ovilla, Tx / Ovilla Christian), Kassy Cox (Lufkin, Tx / Lufkin HS) and Caitlyn Hudson (Mansfield, Tx / Legacy HS) smashing 20, 16 and 12 kills respectively.

SAGU has three home matches during Homecoming Weekend; Friday at 7:00pm, Saturday at 11am and 7:00pm.
