SAGU inks Midlothian's Paschall

First 2012 volleyball recruit signs

Standout for Panthers is very familiar with SAGU

MIDLOTHIAN, Texas -- Southwestern Assemblies of God University has secured the services of a talented local prep volleyball player during a signing ceremony last week. Midlothian High School senior Caitlin Paschall signed a binding National Letter of Intent becoming the first recruit for the coming year for veteran head coach Hansford Moore.

Paschall (PASS-kul) is a 5-foot-11 setter for Midlothian and head coach Rhonda Currey . She has been a three year starter for the Panthers while playing both setter and right-side hitter. Her prep career in royal blue included Class 5A district records of 9-5, 11-3, 9-4 and 10-4 since her freshman year.

"We are very pleased to have Caitlin as a Lady Lion," Coach Moore said. "She will be a fine addition to our team. She comes from a great family."

She has been a mainstay for the Ellis County Juniors club team for five years, where Moore served as her coach for one season. Justin Wilson, the club director, was her coach the other four years.

Caitlin is the daughter of Kirk and Susan Paschall , of Waxahachie. Her mom has been the Administrative Assistant for SAGU Athletics for years.
