Lady Lions add Krock to roster

WAXAHACHIE, Texas  --  The Southwestern Assemblies of God University softball team announced today they will reschedule this week's three-game series against Northwood University.

Originally slated as a Thursday doubleheader at home and a solo game in Cedar Hill on Friday, extenuating circumstances led the members of the Red River Athletic Conference to agree to postpone the games.

SAGU Head Coach Tim Grant and the Lady Knights' Steve Maddox are expected to agree to make-up dates in April.

Grant said he does not expect to fill the dates this week, though he did not rule out a possible scrimmage on Friday.

The Lady Lions, winners of nine-of-their-last-eleven games, are 9-5 overall. Northwood is 2-5.

SAGU has added a new addition to their active roster in Bethany Krock. The freshman is currently listed as a utility player. She hails from San Antonio, Texas and played at Cornerstone Christian.
