MEN’S SOCCER PREVIEW

SAGU’s top goal scorer, sophomore Robert Ambrosie (Lasi, Romania / Richard Wurmbrand HS), will miss the game. Lee Kounas (Oak Cliff, Tx / Townview HS), quiet of late, has tallied three times during the non-conference season.

Ramirez has a pair of goals, as does freshman Walther Cavazos (Monterrey, N.L., Mexico / Mesquite HS) and junior Jonathan Ramos (Tegucigalpa, Honduras / Garringer HS), who leads the club with three assists.

The Lions have netted 16 goals and yielded 20.

Balanced scoring describes the Evangels. Seven players have found the back of the webbing for two or three goals.

Raphael Bonelle and Marcel Lima lead with three goals. Six-foot-three Tyler McIntosh guards the net, allowing 1.82 goal per outing.

Mid-America has an 18-15 edge in goals against their opponents.
