Catch the Lions, Lady Lions in S.E. Dallas

Study Break for fans; SAGU has home game on Dec. 16

WAXAHACHIE, Texas  --  While its finals week at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, it could also be the final chance many students have to catch the SAGU basketball teams in action this semester.

Both the Lady Lions (4-4) and Lions (5-1) are scheduled to play at Paul Quinn College on Tuesday night, December 10.

Fans can enjoy a break from their studies by carpooling to southeast Dallas to take in a game. In fact the drive takes less than thirty minutes.

The women’s game begins at 5:30pm against the Lady Tigers (0-3). It will be followed by the men’s contest at 7:30pm.

The PQC Tigers are winless in five games, though they made SAGU sweat two weeks ago before yielding, 82-67.

Drive north on I-35 E towards Dallas. Turn right/East onto I-20 (Lyndon B. Johnson Frwy). Head north by turning left onto I-45 (Julius Schepps Frwy).

Exit left onto Simpson Stuart Road. Paul Quinn College will be on the right (northside) halfway between I-45 and Bonnie View Road. Gym will be on the left on top of campus hill.

FINAL HOME GAME:  Monday, Dec. 10

SAGU has one home date remaining, Monday, Dec. 10. Arlington Baptist College will bring their women’s and men’s teams for games at 6:00pm and 8:00pm.

Area fans are encouraged to come out and support SAGU at this holiday break doubleheader.
