Lions face Midwestern State in hoops
Thursday exhibition against #22 Mustangs

WAXAHACHIE, Texas -- The Southwestern Assemblies of God University men’s basketball team will play an exhibition game against Midwestern State University on Thursday night in Wichita Falls, Texas.
It has a 7:00pm (CST) start and can be heard live on KWFB-FM. Plus, LiveStats of the game, a digital version of the accounts of the action, including current team and player stats, will be available.

Midwestern State, is currently ranked #22, went 29-4 last year. The Mustangs are a member of the NCAA’s Division II.
Last season the Lions played two exhibition games, both on the road. They defeated Dallas Baptist University and lost by nine to #8 ranked Tarleton State University.
SAGU, 27-11 during the 2011-12 campaign, is ranked #26 in the NAIA Pre-Season Coaches Poll.
A complete preview of the team will be posted on-line on Monday, November 5.
The Lions begin the regular season the following day, Nov. 6, when they host Dallas Christian College at 7:00pm (CST).
A "Texas Snowstorm" is expected early in the season opener. A packed crowd is also expected.
