Men's, Women's team compete in Abilene

WAXAHACHE, Texas  --  The men’s and women’s Cross Country teams from Southwestern Assemblies of God University will be in Abilene, Texas on Saturday to compete in the Bill Libby Invitational meet.

Abilene is 188 miles west of Waxahachie.

Head Coach Jason Covarrubias leads the Lady Lions, one of nine college teams competing, who start at 8:00am. Their division runs a 5K race.

The Lions squad, who are in an 8K race that begins at 8:30am, will battle a field of 10 teams.

McMurry University, a member of the NCAA’s Division II, hosts the event.
