Southwestern Assemblies of God University releases worship albumWaxahachie, TXDecember 5, 2011Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) released its live worship recording “In All the Earth” on Thursday, November 3, 2011. Recording for the album occurred during Late Night Worship at Campus Days this past March. All songs are original, written by students, and is produced by SAGU’s Media department. Additionally, staff members Meredith (songwriter/vocals) and Nathan Jones (lead electric guitar) and Hilary Goode (songwriter) contributed to the recording. It is now available on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic and CDbaby.

The Worship album is the newest of six SAGU recordings available for purchase. “In All the Earth” is the only one available through online merchants. All albums can be purchased through SAGU’s online order form. 

The Call is SAGU’s traveling worship band. Combining a passion for worship with a modern sound, The Call is traveling the country encouraging people to worship God. Their newly released CD “Only One” contains seven original songs, as well as music by artists Phil Wickham, Brooke Fraser, and Joel Houston.

Ransomed is a SAGU traveling music group comprised of six vocalists and five-piece live band. It maintains a broad repertoire that ranges from contemporary worship to a capella and gospel stylings. Ransomed’s ability to customize its repertoire enables it to bridge the generational gap through worship and presentation music ministry. Their first album “Forever Worshipping You” includes “Crown You with Praise,” “Stranger,” and “Worshipping You."

The Harvesters is a ministry of SAGU’s Advancement office. The primary role of The Office of Advancement is to raise support for the Southwestern Foundation. Along with their self-titled album, The Harvesters have now released “Hymns of Faith,” which includes classic favorites like “Blessed Assurance” and “It is Well”. 

Southwestern Assemblies of God University is a private, Christian university located 30 minutes south of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Waxahachie, Texas.
