WCC update: April 16, 2013Waxahachie, Texas — April 16, 2013 — Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) broke ground on the Hagee Communication Center (HCC) on Friday, April 27, 2012. The estimated move-in date for offices relocating to the facility is August 12, 2013, and classes will begin in September.

As brickwork continues on the exterior, much progress is being made on the interior of the HCC. Nearly all interior walls are now constructed, and drywall is being installed throughout the building. The 11-foot-tall glass cupola will be installed in May, bringing the HCC to its full height of 74 feet and six inches. The exterior masonry should be completed in the next two weeks, including a 12-foot cast-stone SAGU seal on the east side of the building.

The dedication will likely take place during Homecoming in October.
